Strive Consulting has launched an initiative to work with Upwardly Global (UpGlo), an award-winning national nonprofit that helps immigrants and refugees find their place in the professional U.S. workforce.
Upwardly Global was launched in 2000 and has since helped 5,600+ immigrants and refugees find employment in the professional workforce; 50%+ of placements have been in high-demand STEM fields. Job seekers partnering with Upwardly Global represent 169 countries and 1 in 4 are a refugee or asylee.
Strive Consulting will utilize Upwardly Global as a key talent pipeline. Upwardly Global program participants are fully work-authorized, possess in-demand skills, and have an average of 7 years of professional experience.
“This initiative between Strive and Upwardly Global is a great match for both organizations. Not only does it enable us to staff talented and diverse talent, it is another funnel for Upwardly Global program participants,” said May Pelz, Manager at Strive Consulting.
